2. Skill Test

The skill test is qualifying in nature and is conducted to test the stenography skills of the candidates. The details are:

  • For Grade C: Dictation at the speed of 100 words per minute for 10 minutes. The transcription time is 40 minutes (English) or 55 minutes (Hindi).
  • For Grade D: Dictation at the speed of 80 words per minute for 10 minutes. The transcription time is 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi).
